Andoni,

Sounds like a video card problem.  What brand of video card are you
using?  Is is a built in kind (built and comes with the motherboard),
an AGP card, a PCI card, or an ISA card?  Which manufacturer?  ATI,
NVidia, etc....

Text mode should work on any card, which is what run level 3 gets you to.
