No, the above location is out of date.  This is an
XFree86 path.  I finally found the following path, but
it appears to point to an agglomerated pdf file which
contains an XFree86 3.3.1 exerpt.  So, this is not
quite correct either.

This document refers to a README.S3, but this seems
again to be a stale reference.

Thanks anyway for your answer, Joel.  It seems to be
appropriate for RedHat 7.3, as I found by checking a
