http://ipw2200.sourceforge.net/ works quite nicely. You're in luck if it was the 2100, since you can use 2.4 kernels also. But for the 2200 you will need the 2.6 kernels. For FC3 not a problem, as it comes with it. I installed mine on a friends laptop in not even 10 minutes. Instructions are very straightforward. Don't forget to copy the firmware files into that special directory you need to track down! - peter On Wed, 8 Dec 2004, Qian Qiao wrote: > On Wed, 8 Dec 2004 16:20:46 -0500, Jim <lawrence.jim@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: > > Hi all, > > i have a notebook wth centrino the device is not listed. > > wre can i get the driver ,and any rpms needed to make my wireless work? > > > > thank you > > -- > > james lawrence > > > > http://jlawren7.blogspot.com > > > > -- > > fedora-list mailing list > > fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx > > To unsubscribe: http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list > > > > > Try /sbin/lspci, it will give you the chip used for the wifi card. > Google to see if it is supported by linux, if not, you might want > this: ndiswrapper.sf.net. > > Good luck. > > -- Joe > >
