My most-used feature in E has been the summary page. Without that, I really have little use for it. to my mind it has too many usability disabilities. For starters, it often has the cursor in the wrong place so that instead of ']" advancing to the next unread, it gets typed into some window. It also isn't good at hiding read mail; every time I change folder it forgets. Viewing source occasionaly is a pain. For _this_ list I'm using kmail which was formerly my primary email client. It's okay but apparently won't sort imap. Or maybe that's just the version on nahant; I do have it junking mail from one individual. kmail does have spell checking though. Mostly, I use tbird which does not check spelling but does hide read mail fairly well and has good ideas about threading. -- Cheers John Summerfield tourist pics: http://environmental.disaster.cds.merseine.nu/
