Try using lspci to list the card.  That should give you the chip set
that it is using.  You will then need to find a driver that works with
that chip set.  For instance the particular DWL-G650 card I have uses
the prism chip set.  I successfully used the prism54 drivers with it. 
If you have an atheros chip set check out the madwifi drivers.  Other
chipsets you may need to try the ndiswrapper which allows you to use the
windows supplied drivers.
