Now FC3 ships with Evolution > 2. The UI changes are really bad. I agree. One of the Evolution developers contributed to a recent thread that I initiated on the Evolution mail list. The gist of it was that he's been reading too many UI design books, thinks that configuration options make for bad UI's, and if you don't like it, too bad.
