I though we were talking about window managers. Over time, Gnome's had several "official" window managers. I think enlightenment and sawfish/sawmill were official. Certainly, we had them.

I was mainly interested in WM but I am intrigued by xfce. twm as a desktop environment seems like a real stretch. FC3 supports Gnome, KDE, XFCE and TWM as desktop choices. I'm wondering if there is a way to configure sawfish/fvwm/etc. as a desktop choice?
