Hm, I doubt you see a broken link. ls -al /etc/X11/X /usr/X11R6/bin/Xorg What does that command show you? Do you think it is "broken" because /usr/X11R6/bin/Xorg is displayed with red background? This is because the binary has "chmod u+s" set.
