Hi, I have two pretty much identical servers, each with a Linux software RAID 1 mirror comprised of 2x 9Gb disks. On of them I installed a fresh FC3 copy (call it server1), with the following disk layouts: # fdisk -l /dev/sda Disk /dev/sda: 9056 MB, 9056904704 bytes 255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 1101 cylinders Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System /dev/sda1 * 1 13 104391 fd Linux raid autodetect /dev/sda2 14 407 3164805 fd Linux raid autodetect /dev/sda3 408 774 2947927+ fd Linux raid autodetect /dev/sda4 775 1101 2626627+ 5 Extended /dev/sda5 775 905 1052226 fd Linux raid autodetect /dev/sda6 906 1036 1052226 fd Linux raid autodetect /dev/sda7 1037 1101 522081 82 Linux swap on other one (call it server2) I did the same thing in terms of disks, but as it was already an FC2 server, I went through the upgrade process using the FC3 CD's to upgrade the OS.
