Good grief, you put the U in STUPID. What makes you think that emacs would have anything to do with a .sh file, and I highly doubt Emacs would have anything to say about it being corrupt in the first place. Get a good book on Linux, read manuals before asking stupid questions, and learn to use google. I'm *REAL SURE* there are instructions on how to install Cross Office, but maybe you didn't buy it. If that's the case, I hope you continue to use Emacs to 'install' it. > > The file name is install-crossover-standard-4.0.sh and > I'm using emacs text editor to try to open the file. > > --- Nathan Low <nlow04@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: > > > Date: Sun, 28 Nov 2004 13:37:58 -0800 (PST) > > From: Nathan Low <nlow04@xxxxxxxxx> > > Subject: Crossover Office Standard software > > To: fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx > > > > I tried to download this software and it can't > > extract > > because its corrupt according to the emacs text > > editor. > > > > I just want to know if anyone has the same problem I > > have right now.
