I have the package installed but xine still cannot play WMV9 videos. It
says it is an unsupported stream.



get essentials from mplayers homepage



Well I download the essentials package and put the codecs in /usr/local/lib/codecs as per Mplayer instructions, and I modified my xine config to go to that folder for win32 codecs as well. Now both players crash when I try to play a WMV9 video...
