It seems FC3 updates still don't include fix for the recent samba vulnerabilities CAN-2004-0882 and CAN-2004-0930: http://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2004-632.html http://security.e-matters.de/advisories/132004.html (Rawhide has an updated samba package and it installs fine on top of FC3, too.) It seems samba security fixes are quite slow to get in Fedora updates; the situation was the same with CAN-2004-0600 and CAN-2004-0686 a few months ago (http://secunia.com/advisories/12130/). -- v -- v@xxxxxx
