BOOBY TRAPS INIT: version 2.85 reloading
Any idea what this is?
The string appears in the man page for hosts.allow. Were you browsing man pages earlier?
[root@dugong ~]# man hosts.allow | grep -i booby Warning: do not booby-trap your finger daemon, unless you are prepared [root@dugong ~]# rpm -qf /etc/redhat-release fedora-release-3-8 [root@dugong ~]#
Not the same string.
The string is right but your test is wrong. [ewilts@pe400 ~]$ man hosts.allow | grep BO BOOBY TRAPS [ewilts@pe400 ~]$ rpm -qf /etc/redhat-release fedora-release-3-8
Don't spell the whole BOOBY word out - it's a funky man page display but you will see the string BOOBY TRAPS there exactly as the original poster documented.
