When the hardware is probed you can switch, either by pressing
Ctrl+Alt+F[3,4] when doing a graphical install or Alt+F[3,4] during text
install.

I am not sure whether the install kernel has the aic7xxx_old module. To
be able to select the SCSI module by hand you will have to start the
install with "linux noprobe". Someone here on the list posted a howto to
install FC2 with the old module by modifying the equipped ramdisk image.
