Simply boot with CD1 or the DVD or the rescue CD into rescue mode.

As above, boot into rescue mode from CD/DVD and let the LVM mount
read-only. You are guided through the steps once you booted the rescue
mode. With LVM booted read-only you can run fsck.$filesystem as known.
