Hi all.
Actually it was my fault. I played with some services (bluetooth and irda) and because I enabled them yesterday it seemed to cause trouble with my wireless card.

Hi.
I discovered that the wireless works for about 3-5 seconds after I get an IP address. After that, even thoug everything (gnome network monitor, gkrellm) indicates that I am still online, nothing gets thorugh. When I try "ping yahoo.com" it hangs for ever. If I do ifconfig, it shows an ip address, but with lots of TX/RX errors. Do you think that selinux may have to do anything with this?
I appreciate any suggestion, thank you, Marius

Hi.
I am using an orinoco gold pcmcia card to connect to my university's wireless network. In order to make it work with the encryption, I have to download the latest version of the orinoco driver (0.15rc2) and compile it. I had no trouble doing this in FC2 and FC3 until yesterday. Yesterday I did an update everything using up2date, and since then I can not connect to the network. I use xsupplicant and when I do "dhclient eth1" I obtain an ip address, and it seems like I am connected to the network, but nothing goes through. If I do iwconfig, I can see that I get also a key.
I have no trouble using the wired connection. I tried to stop iptables, but this didn't help.
Do you have any idea?
Thank you, Marius
