up2date: Network is Unreachable

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi All,

I have a little cluster of FC2 machines, all using one FC2 machine as an
Internet access point. The hub runs squid and dnsmasq - it is fully
up2date. I'm having difficulty getting the individual nodes to update.
/etc/resolv.conf points to the right place, and the hub can be pinged
from all the nodes. Mozilla on the nodes works fine via squid on the
hub.

When I do:

   # export http_proxy=http://hub:3128
   # up2date -v -u

I get:

   http://fedora.redhat.com/download/up2date-mirrors/fedora-code-2
   http://fedora.redhat.com/download/up2date-mirrors/updated-released-fc2
   <snip backtrace>
   ... in do_open: No route to host

Any ideas what I have missed ?

Jonathan
