Marcelo,

Read through this bugzilla entry and try some of the hints mentioned here:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=132267

Of special interest to me is this excerpt from the bug report that is referenced. I have not tried this solution yet, but reports seem to indicate that upstream improvements are heading toward a solution to this refresh problem.

Excerpt from bug 132267:

OK, I finally got my hands on a i810 system, and was able to reproduce the problem. The latest Xorg CVS has quite a few fixes for the i810 and it makes the redraw problem go away for me.

I've uploaded the new i810 driver to

  http://people.redhat.com/krh/i810_drv.o

Please give this a try by downloading it and copying it to
/usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers (replacing the old i810_drv.o there).

Thanks!
