Yes, I am using the Palm T3 with evolution. Even the bluetooth
is working. It is working well on all three of my systems using FC3.

There is a work around that I googled,

create "/etc/udev/rules.d/10-local.rules" with the following text
"
# palm pilot
KERNEL="ttyUSB1",    SYMLINK="pilot"
"

I would be guessing, but for a serial connection, just change ttyUSB1)
to ttyS(1)for the symbolic link to be made.

Hope this helps
