SELinux: speed impact / disabling?

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi.

I just installed FC 3 on a test system. Of course I enabled SELinux to
give it a try.

I'm looking for 'real' experiences.
Does SELinux have a big impact on a Workstation? What about a LAN server
(DNS, Samba, DHCP, Mail, Cyrus, Printer)?

Is it posible to later disable the SELinux (after installation? As I know
there is no problem to do it. However I don't know what does this mean to
the system - e.g. is it posible to reenable the SELinux later after
running the system let say for one mounth without it? What are the
impacts?

Thanks and best regards,
Dezo
