I initially tried yum and apt to upgrade from FC2 to FC3 on a test
systems. Later, I decided to further on use apt.

Feel free to try it. Many people have reported success. My experiences
with yum could be described as "doable, but not necessarily convenient
nor fool-proof"

What I did, basically boils down to:

* Given an existing FC2+FE2 installation with apt configured to point to
FC2+FE2 Fedora.US repositories
* Add Fedora.US's FC3 "os" and "update" repositories to apt's
configuration.
* Run "apt-get upgrade" and/or "apt-get dist-upgrade".

Some package conflicts had occurred, which had required me to manually
intervene, but basically, things went pretty smooth.
