My experiences with yum could be described as "doable, but not necessarily convenient nor fool-proof" > Would u provide steps or procedures ? What I did, basically boils down to: * Given an existing FC2+FE2 installation with apt configured to point to FC2+FE2 Fedora.US repositories * Add Fedora.US's FC3 "os" and "update" repositories to apt's configuration. * Run "apt-get upgrade" and/or "apt-get dist-upgrade". Some package conflicts had occurred, which had required me to manually intervene, but basically, things went pretty smooth. Ralf
