Hi!
I've just tested the last release of fedora and it's great! It's very wonderful and i 'd like to contribute to the project (i 'm french and developer ).
I've just one question : i've a problem with yum.
Whem i want to do for example "yum update " or "yum install ...", i've the following answer
Config Error: File contains parsing errors: file:///etc/yum.conf
[line 2]: '\t Base\n'
[line 3]: '\t baseurl=http://zeniiia.linux.org.uk/pub/distributions/fedora/linux/core/updates/$releasever/i386 \n'
[line 4]: '\t http://www.mirror.ac.uk/sites/download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/$releasever/i386/os \n'
[line 5]: '\t http://mirror.linux.duke.edu/pub/fedora/linux/core/updates/$releasever/i386 \n'
[line 6]: '\t ftp://sunsite.informatik.rwth-aachen.de/pub/Linux/fedora-core/$releasever/i386/os \n'
[line 7]: '\t http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/$releasever/$basearch/os \n'
[line 8]: '\t #baseurl=http://fedora.redhat.com/releases/fedora-core-$releasever\n'
[line 11]: '\t$basearch - Released Updates\n'
[line 12]: '\tbaseurl=http://fedora.redhat.com/updates/released/fedora-core-$releasever \n'
[line 13]: '\thttp://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/fedora/linux/core/updates/1/i386/\n'
I've used this file http://www.fedorafaq.org/samples/yum.conf
Something strange or i've forgotten something? I join to this email my "yum.conf" and "sources".
So, if someone could explain what happened, that would be nice.
best regards
samuel
