Hmm, it appears that your hard disk has no heads; that would be a
problem : ).  Sorry, couldn't resist.  More likely, something is
reporting that your hard disk has no heads, or returning a negative
number to indicate an error.  Your FC2 still works, I assume.  Try
doing an "fdisk -l" as root to see what it thinks your hard disk
geometry is.  Or do something similar with parted as that is what is
used by the installer.

Aha, there is a bug.  It was marked as a duplicate of this bug:

Looks like there are instructions there for a work-around.
