I have an external hard drive that I was using with my Windows machine. It has a lot of files (pictures, songs, and work) that I would like to put onto my Linux box.

How can I mount this Maxtor External Hard Drive on my Linux box? It's connected through a USB 2.0 connection, which Linux saw when I booted up.
