Once upon a time, it was considered extremely dangerous to install lm_sensors on Thinkpads. More recently, I've never been able to track down which combinations of lm_sensor versions and Thinkpad models were dangerous and which (if any) were safe. I just installed FC3 on another laptop and noticed that lm_sensors is installed automatically. So is that safe for a Thinkpad T41? Anybody done it and survived?
