Is the instruction on http://fedora.redhat.com/projects/anaconda-installer/manualtest.html correct? It say you should run dd if=/dev/cdrom bs=2k | md5sum to check the md5sum after you have burned the cd. I've tried to burn the cd's in different ways using cdrecord (different pad-size) but no matter what, I get a I/O-error in the end and a sum that is correct. I've used the cd's on two computers to install and on both, the media check first failed and then passed when I used ide=nodma. The installations I did using nodma, and they seemed to work well. I've not tried to install from them with dma turned on. -- /Dennis Björklund
