Just check the option "Enable Assistive Technologies", and don't bother checking anything else. It should disable the fading. I say should as I've only tested this on FC1 and 2. I haven't tried on FC3 yet but it's all probably the same. No I won't try as it's 3:10am here and I have to sleep. =) dex
