Yes it will work with XFS.

Hint, when running mkfs.xfs increase the size of the inode so it holds
the SELinux attributes without additional allocation.....

FWIW extra large inodes on xfs are nifty if you have a gazillion
very tiny files (silly corner case for most folks).
