At the moment it's all in two places:

/usr/lib/hotplug/firmware
/lib/firmware

both places contain four files:

ipw2100-1.3.fw
ipw2100-1.3-i.pw
ipw2100-1.3-p.fw
LICENSE

the permissions on the directories are 755, and on the files inside
666 (in case it matters).
