If you hate XMMS and would like to use Noatun, Juk or Kaboodle, try this: Use yum to install the following: a) xine and it's dependencies b) taglib c)libmusicbrainz d) lame and lame-devel Then, update or reinstall kdemultimedia. MP3 files will now work more than just XMMS. Choice is a good thing.

Hope that helps.

Will Fedora ever include support for MP3? Anyone know where to get MP3 support for KDE apps like Juk and Noatun?
