Someone help before I go > back to Core 2! > Jesse Jarzynka What is your problem? The closed source NVidia driver _builds without_ the kernel source tree being installed. Maybe you use the older NVidia driver which builds against /lib/modules/`uname -r`/build/includes/ but fails to load the module. Use the new, just few days old driver. To get a kernel source RPM get the kernel SRC.RPM like said in the release notes. Install it to be able to change the kernel-2.6.spec file. In line 37 change "%define buildsource 0" to be "%define buildsource 1". Then build the RPM by running "rpmbuild -bp --target noarch kernel-2.6.spec".
