resolution error during Core 3 install

when I try to install Fedora Core 3 the system starts loading and then
half way through loading the screen goes blank and a message (the
monitor's menu) pops up saying "Resolution out of range."

Is this is problem with my video card NVIDIA 5200 FX or is something else wrong?
