Now, I *have* seen it run on 128M with a Cyrix 133; it actually _worked_ enough to get the basics done. But I think you're gonna need a bit more than 8M to do most anything useful as a desktop machine, unless you can get an old copy of WordPerfect that has a character-based mode.
