Solved! I didn't find the answer til now. What I did is just downloading a soundfont (mustheory2) and running fluidsynth with its GUI qsynth. Start qsynth and you will see the free midi port: [rodolfoap] /home/rodolfoap > pmidi -l Port Client name Port name 128:0 FLUID Synth (13973) Synth input port (13973:0) [rodolfoap] /home/rodolfoap > Anyway, im not using midi (like someone suggested using timidity), but synthetizing midi to audio with a soundfont.
