> I have installed FC2 and when rebooting I only get the word GRUB > and nothing happens further. > > Thanks. sounds like you need to reinstall your first-stage bootloader... boot from your first install disk, type 'linux rescue' at the prompt. after answering a few questions about languages, allow the rescue system to mount your existing filesystems. once it has all finished, try the following: chroot /mnt/sysimage /sbin/grub-install /dev/hda nb/disclaimer. This assumes that your system uses IDE disks and that your main boot disk is your primary master (this is normal for most home PCs) then try a reboot. Stuart
