I am fed up using windows (and its virus) !!!
please help me to configure my SIS winmodem driver!!
I have downloaded pctel-FC1 0.96
and these are outputs:

Making it permananently loadable at the time of system startup.
This is not the part of original script.
And this has been tested only on my Fedora core 1 installation
With PCT786 chipset

It appears that PCTel module is already configured to load at
system startup.

Next , I have run scanmodem and make cat /proc/pci and these
are the outputs!! What have I to do now!! and where is my
modem (/dev/ttyS1?????)

ONLY use scanModem downloaded as:
http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/packages/scanModem.gz

 scanModem should ONLY be run within a Linux/UNIX partition.
   If within a MicroSoft/DOS partition, abort with Ctrl-C now !!!
   Copy scanModem.gz to your Linux partition and restart.
