Hi,

For a while now I've been pondering about how get stuff to run when I
login to GNOME. I tried the "Save current setup" option at logoff but to
no avail. Basically I would like gDesklets to start whenever I login (or
some other program for that matter).

There does not seem to be any default script under my home directory by
default that I can edit to achieve this.

Thanks in advance for any replies,

You can make it one of your startup programs by clicking on preferences/sessions. Then under the startup tab enter the gDesklets program in the provided window.

Thanks a lot! Never thought of looking there before..
