Subject: installation error msg. -- boot problem
Date: Sun, 31 Oct 2004 20:45:43 -0800
Get this message on installation:
"Unable to align partition properly. This probably means that another partition tool generated an incorrect partition table, because it doesn't have the correct bios geometry. It is safe to ignore, but ignoring may cause (fixable) problems with some boot loaders."
Well, what do you know, I seem to have one of those "fixable" problems. Computer hangs on reboot most of the time.
1) I installed redhat 9 on this hard drive before installing Fedora. Might that be the cause of the problem?
2) How do I fix this? I am not a programmer, so go easy.
Any help much appreciated.
