You better choose paths which follow the FHS.

Please read the Apache docs: http://httpd.apache.org/docs-2.0/vhosts/.
At least: where is the "NameVirtualHost *:80" instruction? Check the
config with "apachectl". Do all server names locally resolve? What is
the main server's name?
