I'm not sure if this is the right list for this or not. Maybe it should be in the FC3 list. I'm having the same problem in FC2 and FC3.
When using Evolution 2.0 to read a POP3 mail account, it downloads the messages very slowly. When I used Evo 1.4 it is quite fast. Evo 2.0 takes about 10 times a long as 1.4 did. I ran Ethereal to see what was going on and it showed quite a bit of DNS traffic between each downloaded message. I tried this using both an external DNS server and running named on the local machine (and updating resolv.conf).
