Kernel Oops (both i386 and x86-64)

On occastion I get an oops similar to the one included when running 64
bit mode. To see if it was a 64 bit bug, I installed the i386 version
and I got the same type of oops. Is it a hardware problem or a
legitimate kernel bug? It seems like the oops always is due to a
spinlock being held.

I'm running Fedora Core 2 on both platforms. The nVidia module taints
the kernel, so I'm going to test it without that module next to see if
it makes any difference. I've also ran 1 pass of memtest86+ (1.27) and
it checked out ok. I may run it all night tonight to test further.

I'm only subscribed to the fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx, so if you're reading
this on another list, cc me directly!
