I know that there were some bugs in the lvm2 snapshot feature in early
kernels, but as I can see you are running the latest one, and are able
to create a snap shot.

May I suggest (considering the lack of response here) that you submit a
bug report to http://bugzilla.redhat.com/ detailing the problem that
your having, and any output that you can capture (try running dmesg in
another virtual terminal, or some thing similar.

You may get some response from that.
