Does anybody use nedit in fedora? Maybe this can be moved to extras.

I don't use it, but I got one from the standard fedora (did not have to go to extras, I checked, and it is packaged by Red Hat)

The command line to start it is "nc", same as nc for netcat and almost
same as mc for midnight commander.

yep, you can start it using

/usr/X11R6/bin/nc

or

/usr/X11R6/bin/nedit

because /usr/bin/nc is netcat

If that's too long for you, make yourself a link...
