I use a Netgear wg511 pcmcia card in my thinkpad, it has a prism54 chipset & works fine with the firmware from http://prism54.orgI'm looking for a pci 802.11g wireless card. It seems to be very difficult to have this kind of card working with linux. So i would like to know some experience about it to buy a pci 802.11g wireless card fully ans easily supported under FC2. Thanks Eric
So any card with the same chipset should be fine.
Look them up here: http://www.linux-wlan.org/docs/wlan_adapters.html.gz
The wlan-ng drivers are not relavent with fc2 but it's still a good ref for chipsets.
