Hi,
The hostname is set in the file /etc/sysconfig/network . look for the line starting with HOSATNAME:
The GUI place to set this value is under the RedHat menu -> System Settings -> Network. Select the profile that you which to use (if no profiles are set up, you will find that you are using a default profile), click on the DNS tab and enter the hostname there. Then select File->Save to save the changes and exit. You will be prompted to restart the network services to make the changes take effect.
