If you override this when using saslpasswd2 there is no problem if you later move the sasldb2 file to a different host and continue use the old user auth data. Second question: you do not read carefully. I answered that question in my previous posting. ""sasldblistusers2" will list created sasldb2 users." This does not mean you see the passwords this way.
