That was my mistake. I also couldn't see my x11 folder because it was supposed to be X11 folder, caps error too! I changed the names of the my backup to xorg.conf after renaming my bad one first. Was able to startx after that. I edited the file after in super user file manager under KDE. I now get the nvidea logo going on at boot and when attempting to play a accelerated game like Tux Racer it logs me out after the Nvidia logo appears! It happens in both KDE and Gnome, quit infuriating to say the least. I am using kernal 2.6.6-1.435.2.3 . I installed the driver and the kernal module using ATRPM rpms.
