Well first off, please don't hijack threads.  I mean the question you
asked is sort of related to this, but you could just simply have asked.

Second, don't top post.

Third, now that I got that out of my system, what OS/mail client are you
using?  That makes a huge difference.  I use Evolution and the help
files in it are very useful.

This is a good link too, I used it my first time setting up gpg on my
linux box.
