For those who dont know, 'man' is a command you could run from a terminal. (like the Gnome terminal you can find in the system tools menu if you are using Gnome, which is the default.) The command 'man' displays manuals for programs that supply a manual. An example would be 'man ls' which diplays the manual for the command ls. To get more information about man simply run 'man man'.
