Your question in this form makes not much sense. If you intend to exchange your glibc you have a 95% chance to make your whole system unusable. The current system (Linux) makes use of NPTL (kernel, glibc, elsewhere). Do you intend to compile an incompatible source? So post the specific errors. Alexander P.S.
